What is psychoeducational testing?
Psychoeducational testing measures how a child learns, processes information, and manages attention and memory. It helps identify learning differences, ADHD, giftedness, and provides recommendations for school accommodations.

How do I know if my child needs testing?
Consider testing if your child struggles academically despite effort, has difficulty focusing or staying organized, or experiences frustration with schoolwork. Testing can clarify strengths, challenges, and eligibility for accommodations or gifted programs.

Do you provide therapy for children and adolescents?
Yes. Therapy can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and social difficulties. Sessions are supportive, developmentally appropriate, and include parent involvement when needed.

Do you see patients virtually?
Yes. Dr. Shea offers telepsychology services through PSYPACT, which allows her to provide virtual care not only to families in Florida but also to clients in other PSYPACT-participating states.

Do you take insurance?
Shea Psychological Services is an out-of-network provider. Invoices can be created and provided upon request, which families may submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on their plan.
